Leaving home c. 09.45, en route popping into Romain’s Emporium Of Ancient Wonders, to deliver Mr. Romain the latest Country Life magazine.

Arriving at DGM, Landlord Fry (the former Butcher Fry) appeared, as is conventional whether retired or in active employment.

From here to the place of our arisings, Bear Cross nursing home. Now demolished and replaced by flats and house, it was somewhere over there…

All these visitings accompanied with re-telling of family stories, to keep them fresh and alive within our memories.

Returning Patricia to her friend’s house at Merley, back to DGM HQ arriving c. 16.45.

Alex was just leaving, giving me the responsibility of running out The Road To Red – Pittsburgh, to save the file and close the computer.
